If you are a BAAPS Support member, you will receive the upgraded benefit of cover for three years post discharge rather than two. This give you and your patients additional peace of mind that should a complication arise after the standard 2 years, they will still be covered.

Commitment Plus covers the surgeon which means that the patient is not required to provide any information directly to the insurer. This simplifies the process for both patient and surgeon. Procedures and their subsequent levels of indemnity are categorised into various bands so that premiums are easily calculated. In the event of a claim, once all necessary information is provided, approval could be made within 48 hours.

Surgeons and clinics will only be accepted for the extended Commitment Plus policy if they are a member of BAAPS Support.
